Journal 2: What about the women?
Part 1
The role of the women during the Revolutionary War was probably very important. They probably had chores such as cooking food, cleaning around the house, taking care of the crops, taking care of the children, and doing laundry. If they did this then yes, they very much so contributed because if they were doing these things then they were doing most of the work around the house, and taking care of the children.
Part 2
If I was a colonist in the time era of the American Revolution I would want the women to have chores for cooking, laundry, cleaning, and taking care of people in the house. I believe this because the men should be out getting the food and fighting not doing laundry.

Part 1:
I think that the British are going to win victory over the American's, although the American's have more than one hundred thousand more people the British are more likely to win. Like my teacher said would you rather have a ton of crappy pizza or a little bit of really good pizza? I would choose the little bit of the really good pizza. The British want to divide and conquer, they had their troops in Boston and New York. The American's only wanna defend, defend, defend, and they wanna get the French to ally with them. The British have a well organized professional, well armed, and well funded army. Their good Generals were Howe, Gates, Burgoyne, Cornwallis. They had twelve thousand regulars, fifty-five Loyalists, thirty thousand mercenaries, five thousand Native American's, and one hundred naval vessels. The American's have a relatively unorganized volunteer army, yes I said volunteer. They have twenty thousand regulars, two hundred-fifty militia, and thirty to forty naval vessels.
Part 2:
If I were a colonist I would be terribly frightened because the government probably wouldn't tell you who was fighting. What if it were people worse than the Nazis? I would want to run away, legit. I wouldn't want my family and friends around when that is going on, especially the children. You deffinetly wouldn't want children hearing vessels going off and then you would for sure have to tell them what was going on. I would probably be crying because let's say I go out to go do the crops and they think I'm an army men and they shoot me, I am guessing that some colonists are going to get shoot just by doing their daily chores. HOW SAD!
